Weather app doesn't show current location

Just a though.  If I add two other cities I see both but not current location? Why

It's nice to see you around the forums @Ewarren!  If the weather for your current location doesn’t appear, check that you turned on location services for the Fitbit app. 

If you change locations, sync your watch to see your new location in the Weather app.

I have made sure all the location services are on. But current location won’t show. Only cities that show in weather app are the 2 I put in. Is this an issue with iPhone iOS?  I have uninstalled the Fitbit app and reinstalled. But still have the issue. Any other suggestions.

Welcome on board @Mom2gymnasts, it's nice to see you here! Thanks for making sure all the location services are on. Nice way to go!

While reading your post I was wondering what Fitbit device you have? Have you checked if your tracker is up-to-date? For instructions see How do I update my Fitbit device? 

To set up the Weather app:

1. Open the Fitbit app and tap the Account icon > your device image.
2. Tap Apps.
3. Tap the gear icon next to Weather. You may need to scroll down to find the app.
4. By default, the Weather app shows your current location, which can't be deleted. Add up to 2 additional locations you want to see in the Weather app.
5. Sync your device with the Fitbit app. It can take a few minutes to see the updated list of locations on your device.

If the weather for your current location doesn’t appear, check that you turned on location services for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I allow the Fitbit app to use my phone's GPS?

If you change locations, sync your device to see your new location in the Weather app.

To change the units used for the temperature in the Weather app:

1. Open the Fitbit app and tap the Account icon > your device image.
2. Tap Apps.
3. Tap the gear icon next to Weather. You may need to scroll down to find the app.
4. In the Temperature Unit section, tap Units and choose the unit you want to use.
5. Sync your device and then open the Weather app on your device to see the updated units.

I had the same problem. Apparently when you set up location services in iPhone settings, you have to select Always. If you select Only when using app, it doesn't work.

I am having the same problem, but I have an android phone. The weather app only shows the 2 locations I put in, not my current location.

Something that happened to me was that changes done on the Fitbit app on my iPhone were not being synced with the Charger 3. So, I tried General>Reset>Reset Location & Privacy on my iPhone, and then everything started working. So, it's fixed and I can start seeing the Weather on my 'Location'.

Since you are on Android, try finding these settings on your phone and please make sure your mobile device is included in our list of supported devices. If you're not sure if it's, see: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

Thanks David for the tip, in location services of phone location should be always on for fitbit app. I am not how these fitbit moderators become moderators when they can't even tell the exact solution.

Had same problem on my iPhone. Try this: on FitBit, at the clock, swipe left. Select exercise, select run, select play button. You should get prompt on whether you want FitBit to use Location Services. Select Always. This is how I got the weather app to recognize my current location.

Still not working after making sure wifi is setup, location services are updated & synced. Tempted to take watch back as everything just seems to work to work on it. Doing my head in!!!!

Hi, 

i had the same issue

i added my location and another one

and it only shows two 
the location that I added became my current

i believe that this is a flaw 

it never shows 3 location, yes I do have my service location set
