I own charge hr 3. Enabled always on location, which would automatically track while running to avoid opening app when I enabled track only while using app location service.

 

I went on 4 hrs drive which I never got down the car except once for gas. Apple shows me fitbit used 42 time of my location which cover entire trip.

 

Can someone suggest why Fitbit needs my location tracking when I drive.

Hi @Ujjwal , a warm welcome to the Community! Thanks for your message. I'll be glad to go into your question regarding the the Fitbit app , need the location service to be turn on. 

 

Due the measures taken by the operating systems on the mobile devices, the Fitbit app was optimized to them. One of them was the need of the use of the location services.
