Since later 2019, the Weather App on my Ionic has not been working correctly. The main issues are that the ‘current location’ does not work (only way to get a location is to use ‘Add City’ in the app’s settings) and I have to manually re-enter a city name at least once, maybe twice, a day to get available info. Over the past couple of months, I have relayed my concerns on this app to Fitbit Support and have heard basically the same response from no less than three advisors. I have performed every suggestion made by Fitbit Support (check settings, etc) including performing a factory reset on my Ionic. The last response received read in part, “...we'd like to share that we’re aware of this known issue, but may not be able to provide a fix in the immediate future.” Best I can tell, the Weather App is a Fitbit app. If features of an app — such as ‘current location’ in this case — were not working as touted in the description of a third-party app, I wonder if Fitbit would allow that app to continue to be available as advertised. Just wondering what’s going on.
