Weather app won't update on my Versa 2

About a month ago, the weather quit working.  Have tried resetting the app, and the dev6says to have the app sync.  Tried it many times but still nothing.   Any ideas?

Hi there, @nudincr. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with the weather app before reaching out. @Guy_ Thank you so much for your help!

If the weather is still not updating please check the following settings:

  • Location services must be turned on for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
  • The Fitbit app must remain running in the background on your phone.

If you change locations, sync your device to see your new location in the Weather app. If you're running into syncing difficulties, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Last but not least, may I know what kind of issues you were having with your Versa 3? Did you manage to solve them? Were they syncing issues? 

By the way, I've moved your post to the Fitbit App Gallery board for organization purposes.

Hi @nudincr - it could be permissions, you can try uninstalling the weather app and reinstalling and ensure it gets all permissions.

  • The Fitbit app must remain running in the background on your phone.
