Weather app won't update on my Versa 3

I need some help! I’ve had my Versa 3 for less than 8 weeks. I used to have to manually sync my app to have the weather app function. For the last week it will not read the weather. It keeps prompting the same message, “click here and check your phone”. I click and check the phone then it says “sync to phone to update weather app”. So I do. But the weather then says it needs special permissions and it will not work. This watch is too expensive to be constantly failing at syncing, or doing the preset actions. Will someone please give me advice on what I need to do? I have an iOS 8+. Not sure if that matters lol but figured I would be as detailed as possible. Thanks in advance!

If the weather doesn't update, check the following settings:

  • Location services must be turned on for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
  • The Fitbit app must remain running in the background on your phone.

If you change locations, sync your device to see your new location in the Weather app. If you're running into syncing difficulties, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

By the way, I've moved your post to the Fitbit App Gallery board for organization purposes.
