Weather app won't update on my Versa 3

i am having the same issue as everyone else, my fitbit is not syncing in to the weather. i have uninstalled and reinstalled the app made sure that it has my location on at all times and i put it to my town for the weather. and its still not doing it, it is telling me that it need special permissons and it and that it needs to be synced i have done this 3 times and its still not doing it

Hi there, @Redneck89. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with the Weather app before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling. 

 

Have you checked if your Versa 3 is syncing properly to your Fitbit account?  To make sure your watch has recently synced, go to your Fitbit account, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image.

 

With the above being said, if the weather is still not updating, check the following settings:

 

  • Location services must be turned on for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
  • The Fitbit app must remain running in the background on your phone.

If you change locations, sync your device to see your new location in the Weather app. If you're running into syncing difficulties, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Make sure the fitbit app on the phone has permission to run in the background.
