Weather app won't update

Hey I've tried updating and changing the weather settings on the Fitbit app but the Fitbit itself keeps telling me to set it up on the app when I already did 😞 Does anyone know what to do please?

Hi there, @Hazel3. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with the Weather App before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling. 

If the weather doesn't update, check the following settings:

• Location services must be turned on for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
• The Fitbit app must remain running in the background on your phone.

If you change locations, sync your device to see your new location in the Weather app.

By the way, I've moved your post to the Fitbit App Gallery board for organization purposes.

I tried these but they didn't seem to work 😞 Do you know if there's any other way to get it working please?

None of that helps. Location is on. Phone apparently syncs every day. Weather hasn't shown up in over a month. Your system is wack

idk maybe give this a try it how i do my weather.
I sync my watch soon as I do that I go into my watch and clik the weather thing ya know the thing that saying to sync to the mobile app to update I then clik those words & a little sun & cloud should pop up and then a message should pop up that says No weather data is available... .. . I wait about three seconds and I press that and low and behold it updates the weather....
Here is the thing though I use all different kinds of phones I don't own one I use other peoples phones from cheap government phones to new I phone 12 pro's I get different results with different phones what I am talking about here is with the cheap government phone the watch only holds about 8 hours worth of weather data forecast then I would need to re sync watch and do all the first steps I talked about earlier. With some of the newer phones not all the newer phones I noticed my weather stayed connected all day even several days and I could see my weather any time I choose to look.

I believe this has something to do with the ability of some phones or just the person settings on the phones to keep the mobile app running in the back ground of the phone.
