Weather app won't update

My weather app is continuously trying to update but is never completed thus my Versa never totally syncs. I am unable to delete the app.

Hi there, @Lilypod. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with the Weather App. 

 

If the weather doesn't update, check the following settings:

 

  • Location services must be turned on for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
  • The Fitbit app must remain running in the background on your phone.

If you change locations, sync your device to see your new location in the Weather app. If you're running into syncing difficulties, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Thank you. I’ve done all that. I have even spent hours on the phone with tech support but to no avail. The only thing that happened was that now I have 5 weather icons on my watch!
This is what it looks like when I force the sync. That pink bar just moves back and forth and then I get the notification you see below. As you can see, these is no settings option to delete the app.
All day long I get alerts on my phone saying that Fitbit was unable to sync.
