Hi all,

 

I do not want to sound ungratefull or dissatisfied, but there is a big difference between my votes and solutions shown on the right side of the screen of the Versa board (respectively 114 and 36) and the ones that are shown on my profile which says: 141 votes (of which I think 15 belong to the Ionic Board, so it should be 126) and 40 solutions. In my profile I also see that, not only 40 solutions are approved,  10 solution are marked as a solution and 4 are unmarked. I'm aware of the fact that votes and solutions can be withdrawn, no problem with that al all. It would be no more than logical IMO that when something changes on the right of the screen (vote and/or suggestions withdrawn), it's also changed in your profile, it's the same as 1+1=2. Is there someone who is able to explain this difference to me, would be greatly appreciated, cause it confuses me. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I just want to propose another way in this Community to deal with Votes and Accepted Solutions. I clearly know that both can be withdrawn without further notice to the poster, which is already as such a great omission. But the way the Community handles these is IMO wrong and should be restricted to a certian time limit. At this very moment, it is possible to withdraw your vote or solution even after a few weeks, this is IMO not honest to the original poster, who also is still not noticed about that which should be mandatory. I would therefore suggest a time limit to withdraw your vote or accepted solution to maximally 72 hours, This makes this Community much more trustworthy and reliable. I'm a Recognized Contributor of XDA developers for more than 8 years and they handle these these things like I propose to you now. This is a real problem since you do not update these data on the profile of the poster as well, so it is twice confusing.
