I've just started fitbit premium and am exploring the sleep statistics. Restlessness is an issue for me so can anyone please explain to me how the 'restlessness percentage' is calculated so that I can understand what it actually means. Many thanks.

@chrise6616 A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thank you for getting in touch about this.

Your restoration score provides insight into how restful your sleep was. The score is based on your sleeping and resting heart rates and how much time you spent tossing and turning. You receive a higher restoration score when your sleeping heart rate is lower than your daytime resting heart rate.

Your sleeping heart rate, which is your heart rate while you’re asleep, is often lower than your resting heart rate. For more information about resting heart rate, see How do I track my heart rate with my Fitbit device? Factors such as caffeine, alcohol, stress, illness, or other actions can impact your sleeping heart rate (source).
