I had a free premium subscription and did not cancel it in time. I was charged $85 and immediately canceled, but Fitbit refuses to refund me. They are charging me for the entire year of premium service, even though I don't even use it. I even asked for a prorated deal. $1.36 a week. They could charge me the dollar 36 for the one week past my free subscription. But no. I was told no. I asked for a manager, and she also said no. They were actually both a bit rude and obnoxious. I have never heard of a reputable company not refunding a subscription that's a whole year out. With customer service like that, I don't see me using a Fitbit at all when it's time for me to get a new smart watch. So now I am stuck with a premium subscription through next October because they refuse to have good faith customer service. Anyone else have an issue with this? Has anyone been able to get a refund? This is the kind of tactic that new start up companies use. I am shocked that I am forced into a year subscription!
