As stated in the title line, every morning I have to resubscribe to my valid Fitbit Premium. In the pre-Google days this used to happen sporadically (a couple of times per week)… since last Tuesday (June 27) this has happened to me every night.
To refresh people’s memories, Tuesday was the day that the Google servers wouldn’t let people log into their accounts on Wi-Fi.
The result of the app “forgetting” my Premium Membership is that it also turns off the “Premium Insight Consent” which means that I can no longer access the breakdowns for my Sleep Score and Stress Management Score. The scores are there (the Fitbit collects my data and it’s all in the app… I can view my data in other locations within the app) but I cannot get the details.
My wife has the same issue (she’s already given up on keeping a Premium Subscription) but her “You are no longer a Premium Subscriber” happens in the evening. She “resubscribes” before bed so she actually gets the score breakdowns in the morning.
For me, the most useful/valuable aspect of the Sleep Score is the Restoration tile. Because of this consistent “unsubscribing” by the app I no longer get this. I can do my own assessment by analyzing my HR data… but this is supposed to be a paid for feature done by the app!
This is getting too long… in closing:
Any one else with this issue?
Lastly, if anyone from Google/Fitbit reads this: the Fitbit device and the Fitbit data are excellent… however, the app is terrible. You can’t expect people to pay for “Premium Features” that are rarely available.

I had attempted to start a new thread… but, it wouldn’t upload… so, I thought that I’d add it to my original post…
This constant “get unsubscribed, have Premium Insights Consent cancelled” has resulted in missing Premium Data analysis for 15 out of the last 23 days. That includes missing score breakdowns, sleep profile logging for 9 of the last 10 days.
Fitbit is “working on a resolution”… but, until this gets fixed, do not pay for Premium!
It’s incredibly sketchy that Google/Fitbit is still charging for services that they know they cannot reliably provide.

Here’s some screenshots from this morning:
Opening Shot
notice how “Fitbit Premium” is listed in the title bar, but the app does not recognize it. Some mornings the title bar just says “Fitbit”
When I resubscribe I get the following. I also have to “re-consent” to allowing Fitbit/Google to use my data to calculate scores (I didn’t get a **ahem** of that)
After resubscribing

Last one: here are examples of the problem with my scores:
I get a Sleep Score and a Stress Management Score (all of my data has been collected and the scores have been calculated it’s just that I cannot access the actual breakdowns… which is what the Premium Subscription fee is for!).
When I click on any of the Sleep Score options the only panel that I can access is the “Deep and REM” tile. I cannot access the “Time Asleep” or “Restoration”. This is all that I can access after resubscribing:
The display is supposed to look like this, I haven’t had this since last Tuesday, I’ve had to resubscribe every morning since:
Same for the Stress Management Score. I get a score… but, no breakdowns. In the pre-Google days, resubscribing to Premium used to allow the breakdowns to be viewable. This is no longer happening.
I have done all of the “standard fixes” for this ridiculous app. Uninstall/reinstall, offload data, restart my device, change devices (iOS to android and back), etc.
Anyone have any ideas?
