I have tried to follow all advice but having never purchased Fitbit Premium on purpose, it is not showing up as a subscription or a purchase that I can cancel. I also don't have the ability to manage this subscription. I have been trying to cancel it and it's taken so long it's now renewed. I want to cancel retroactively asap.
I have a Charge 5 and moved my fitbit account to Google in hopes it would make it work better (it finally shows the menus) but I still don't have the ability to manage my membership.

I tried chatting on Fitbit help, that was a dead end. I found elsewhere - go into the Google Play Store/Payments and Subscriptions/Subscriptions, you will find it there and can cancel.
