I paid for an annual premium membership in Sept 24 and have now just purchased a new Sense 2 that comes with 6 months membership. Please can you let me know how to cancel the annual membership and receive a refund, so that I can claim the free membership for 6 months?

Please note that Fitbit's Refund and Return policies do not allow for refunds on Premium subscriptions.
The best advice I can give you is to cancel your current subscription before it expires. This will prevent automatic renewal and allow you to continue using Premium features until the current subscription period ends.
Once the subscription is done, you can activate the free trial that comes with your Sense 2.
