Cancelling Premium (Trial) subscription

Can someone help tell me how to cancel my free Premium trial subscription?

I bought my Charge 4 at the beginning of May, which came with a free 3-month trial subscription. The order confirmation email states "By subscribing you authorize us to charge you the subscription costs above, following your free trial period, automatically charged monthly to the payment method provided.".

I followed the instructions for cancelling here, but "My Subscriptiions" doesn't even show up on Fitbit home when i click the my account icon: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2437.htm

I've tried it from inside the app (iOS), but when I do so I have no subscriptions through Apple.

I already know I don't want the Premium membership and I'd like to cancel now and not be charged in a couple months when I forget about this. What gives, Fitbit?

From a Moderator: "you need to do the following procedure to cancel your Fitbit Premium subscription:

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab

     > your profile picture.

  2. Scroll down and tap Manage Subscriptions. Your active subscriptions open in your phone’s app store.
  3. Tap your Fitbit Premium subscription > Cancel Subscription. Note that you won't see this option if you already canceled your subscription. Your subscription expires at the end of your current monthly or yearly subscription term.

Once you're redirected to Google Play please make sure to follow this procedure to cancel the subscription on Google Play.

Keep in mind that Fitbit subscriptions are non-refundable. However you could always contact Google Play, sometimes they provide refunds. "

Yeah, no, this doesn't work.

When I do that, I get redirected to managing subscriptions on my iPhone (not google, as I mentioned above). There aren't any listed.

I also have no Google play subscriptions.

FWIW: I bit the bullet and waited to talk to customer support. Funny, it turns out of your subscription or trial comes directly from Fitbit, the only way to cancel it is by contacting customer support, you can't do it through the app or the website (I guess I could have blocked transactions through PayPal as well):

"Me: can you tell me - why is there no way for me to cancel it on your website or on the application. this seems pretty deceptive to me.

Larraine: I apologize for that, however, as your Fitbit subscription purchased from us directly, the only way to cancel it is on our end."

@SunsetRunner  glad you took the time to get it sorted. Waiting is hard sometimes. Thanks for the update.
