Hi
I bought a fitbit versa 3 and a fitbit charge 4. Both from currys during black friday.
Both were advertised as coming with one years free premium.
I gifted these at xmas. When i setup both their devices only 3 months is shown in the app. Nothing showed in setup for the years premium.
Why is this the case. Seems like false advertising?

It's certainly incorrect advertising. The UK Fitbit online store shows the Charge 4 and Versa 3 coming with 3 months of premium. The only device that comes with 12 months is the Inspire 2. Was the advertising something you saw from Fitbit or Currys?

I saw it both on the fitbit versa 3 and the charge 4
Bought both.
Shocked that its been falsely advertised. Is it currys who shouldnt have advertised it

I can't find anywhere where Fitbit advertise it so I guess it must be Currys at fault. I suppose it's too late now to ask them about it?

Did you ever get this sorted. I bought a charge4 from fitbit.com and understood that I was getting one years premium too.... now I can't see anything about this

Hey, no mate. I asked currys and they ignored the question. I asked them to check with their web team. And ask them why was it shown on the product page. Got no answer. Interesting you saw the same on the fitbit website. I wish i took a screenshot of currys at the time. I wonder if we can get fitbit to check if this was something they advertised on their site too.

@koloughlin1 @Coffeedrinker Hi there. Thanks for sharing this in the forums.
If the Fitbit devices come with Fitbit Premium, it's recommended to check the Fitbit Official website for confirmation. At the moment, the only Fitbit device that comes with 1 year Premium trial is the Fitbit Inspire 2 and it's also advertised in the description.
If you're new to Fitbit Premium and you purchase another Fitbit tracker/watch, you could get a 90 day free trial.
See you around.

Hi. Understand that.
But the truth is it has been advertised as a benefit to purchase this on another site. And maybe fitbits own site.
It is an edge case someone would see a benefit advertised on a website like currys and then go to the fitbit site to verify.
So the majority would not even think they would need to do this.

Very frustrating indeed.
I still have the order email from fitbit with a link to see the order and of course the link no longer works.
Who would have thought that you'd have to screenshot the offer as you'd need proof to receive it.
Very disappointing.
Katherine

I received the inspire 2 for Christmas and set up the trial. I only got 3 months free. I just discontinued it, but would like my free year. How do I start that?

Hello,
I just purchased an Inspire 2 from Curry's with an offer of a 1 year premium membership. However when I signed up I was only offered 3 months. I just got off the phone with them and it seems many people have had the same problem and they have suggested calling Fitbit which I will do shortly. But seeing as this forum seems to be having a similar issue I thought I would post in here as well.

@Coffeedrinker that link to currys is for the Inspire 2 which does offer 12 months premium but your original post talks about the Charge 4 and Versa 3 trackers which do not offer 12 months premium and I can't see any mention of that on Currys' site.
The problem that @GuEsEaK reports is that the 12 months with the Inspire 2 is not working and that is a different matter that I'm sure customer support will rectify.
I still don't see what Currys have done wrong.
