I have been trying to start the free 90 day Premium trial since March. Each time I get the message ‘Please update your iTunes account to allow payments for this account. Error code 1004.’ My account details are correct and have worked for other products. This has been going on for some time, other people had the same problem in March. Is anything being done to resolve it?

Thanks for sharing the error message you're receiving when trying to purchase Premium. This type of error usually pops up when your iTunes account doesn't authorize a payment. Please check your parental controls and iTunes settings. After this, force quit the app and try again.

We are having this same problem. We even got a confirmation e-mail from Apple confirming the subscription, but it still doesn't work in the app. When we try to subscribe again it says we have already done it but then gives us the error. We have tried force quitting the app, but it still doesn't work...

I have checked my iTunes account. I have tried force quitting the app several times. I have tried logging out and logging back in again. Still the same error message.
