Why is there features only available to those who subscribe for a ‘Premium’ Fitbit subscription? I’ve already paid for my device, I don’t understand why I have to pay to use more features.

This is exactly what I thought when they changed the Premium services and updated the app. I’m being solicited in the app all the time and I’ve lost previously free features. Now I’m considering switching because it’s no longer a positive experience.

It is very aggravating after spending $200 last year on a Versa, expecting the forthcoming enhancements and then be expected to pay extra, especially per month, for them.
When you buy a premium product the software should be free. ALL the software. had a i known they wanted to charge extra for the future features i never would have bought it.
Garmin, here i come.......
