I saw Fitbit offering 12 months free Premium subscription and pressed the button to Google Play to purchase it. But I was charged $139.99 from my credit card instead. I asked for refund from Google but was denied. Asking help from Fitbit Support team but was kicked back to Google Play.
Fitbit offering free Premium subscription but not free. Do you think this is a cheating? How can I get my money back?

Google ruined Fitbit. The app updates fried the devices and they are not canceling the premium subscription that we’re prepaid.
Have been with Fitbit since 2017. Moving to Garmin. Best to get your money back now on your device if you can.

I'm currently having the same problem (though with 6 months). App said I had 6 months free to use but payment was taken instantly.
I contacted them within 15mins of the transaction going through however they sent me to Google,
Google denied the refund and sent me back to Fitbit.
Fitbit have declined refund multiple times no, always stating "it's in the t&C's", but not once have they acknowledged that I have said the app was offering 6 months free, feel like I'm just getting generic replies without my problem actually being read/understood.
