I'm wanting to check out Fitbit Premium using the six month free trial but am seeing some disturbing chatter in the forums about people being charged immediately.

As per the terms of  service regarding free trials:

Free Trials. From time to time, we may offer free trials of certain Subscriptions for specified periods of time without payment.

Please can someone advise how to take advantage of the trial without being charged?
