Move New Fitbit Premium Account to Another User

I've just purchased a Sense 2 through the Fitbit store along with 6 months free Premium membership that was part of the offer.

I was logged in to my own account when I processed the purchase but the device and Premium is for my wife for Christmas. I've now recieved a welcome email that suggests the Premium membership has been applied to my account. 

How do I transfer the Premium membership to her account?

Hi there @AsboNinja, it is nice to see a new face around. 

Thanks for sharing your queries with us about this situation you found yourself in.

Remember that the account you used to set up the device will receive access to the Premium subscription that comes with it. As long as you don't add the premium membership to the order when purchasing the device, this will always be the same. If so, it is normal for you to receive the subscription link to the account you selected when you made the device purchase.

Unfortunately, moving the subscription to your wife's account is not an option. Remember that you can now spend more time with her and lead an increasingly active life together.

What do you mean we can't give our spouses the gift bought for them!!! What can we do to get them (in my case, a Christmas 2023 Sense 3 with Premium Subscription) their respective gifts?  My wife has the product and now wants to use all the premium features that were part of her gift. What do you advise?

Quick update to share my disappointment. First, really poor that the Premium membership is only applied to the account that purchased the device. How would you ever buy it as a present. 

Also, it would actually have been great to give this as a gift for Christmas, but 8t still hasn't arrived. The only reason I bought it direct from the Fitbit site was it said delivery in 3 working days. We're now 8 working days and no sign of it arriving and no tracking info from GLS. When you put this together with the fact the transaction process was horrendous (Digital River is known for how bad they can be), I'm seriously unimpressed so far. 

I'm considering rejecting the delivery when it finally arrives, claiming a refund, and giving up with it.....

I was wondering if you could apply the premium membership when registering the device, but is this not the case? I still haven't had it delivered so I'm none the wiser so far....
