“Premium” Auto subscription

I really do like my Fitbit it Charge5. But today I just saw an unexpected $119 taken from my bank account by Fitbit via Apple. Apparently a auto-renewing “premium” subsection came with my charge 5.  That not the sort

of sneaky marketing that I would expect from a reputable company.

So far it seems I’m now stuck with a “premium” subscription I don’t want. I can’t even remove the  “premium” functions so I’m constantly reminded how ripped-off I feel.

I wish there was a function to delete/hide all these so called “premium” functions I don’t want.

I tried chat… waste of time.  The “chatter” told me to contact Apple or the shop where the Charge 5 was bought over a year ago!!? Then told me to contact the Australian support during business hours.

In summary chat support gave lots of “sorry” and not action.

@MattBoreland  I'll have a Fitbit Moderator stop by to address this. They should have more information to give you. Have you tried getting with Apple?

…I  figure Fitbit has the money, not Apple …

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @MattBoreland. I´m sorry to hear about your Premium subscription experience and thank you for sharing what our team told you.

Fitbit Premium is linked with your Apple payment method and that´s why our team directed you there. I would recommend contacting our Australia's Support Team in order to get accurate information.

Thank you for the heads up @Odyssey13.

Keep on visiting the forums.
