Premium benefits for Charge 4 users

After reviewing Premium benefits, not all are available to Charge 4 users. Is it worth it? Is Fitbit planning to introduce a data enhanced subscription only?

Hello @Alec7 and welcome to the Help forum.  I have been a Premium user for a while.  I don't have a Charge 4 on my account right now.  I had the opportunity to use one, but prefer a smartwatch.  I never noticed any difference between benefits of Premium for the Charge 4 and my Versa 3.  Which benefits do you mean?

With respect to a more limited Premium membership, Fitbit keeps those plans, if any, very hush-hush.  If they are planning it, we will know about it if and when it is released.

@Kiwipol you may want to take the quiz found here

The charge is closer to a tracker only.

The Versa 3 is more of a smart watch with a larger display. and will interact more with the phone, more watch faces, more apps, the user can also design there own face, write there own apps.

The Versa 3 can respond to notifications the way the Charge 4 can, but the user can also use the voice to text feature when responding.

Alexa or Google are also availible.

The user can answer the phone call and talk through their wrist.

Both user manuals may be found here.

Hello @Kiwipol and welcome to the Help forum.  The Versa 3 and Charge 4 are very different devices.  The Versa 3 is a smartwatch and the Charge 4 is a tracker.  Some differences between the two are the following (not all inclusive).  I suppose it is up to you to decide which is a benefit.

  • Both have built in GPS.  The Charge 4 has a setting to choose between built in and phone connected GPS.  The Versa 3 only has built in GPS.  GPS is a battery hog.
  • The Versa 3 has third party apps and clock faces available in the App Gallery.
  • The Charge 4 clock faces and apps are all developed by Fitbit.  Choices are much more limited.
  • The Versa 3 screen is very customizable with respect to the arrangement of the apps and the data you want to see.  You cannot customize the Charge 4 display.

There are many user reviews of both devices on YouTube.  You might get more insight there.
