I've bought a charge 5. I have a premium membership now. I am struggling to watch videos. I couldn't manage to start and watch a single video yet. A black screen comes up with play icon, but pressing the play icon is useless.
I have an samsung galaxy A series android phone. My phone is new, has enough memory, android is up to date, as well as my fitbit app.

Let me try it on mine, I have a Galaxy A12 with Premium. I highly doubt it has anything to do with the fact that you have a Charge 5 tied to your account.
It has something to do with your phone. I just tried it on mine and it played right away. Have you cleared the Fitbit app cache? Go to your "Settings" then "Apps". Find "Fitbit" and then select "Storage". Finally, hit "Clear Cache" and you should be all set.
