Readiness score doesn't account for sickness

I noticed that the readiness scores look fantastic even when sick. I had a readiness score in the 80s despite having a 103 degree fever, cough, headache, and many other unpleasant symptoms. As a result, I've been sleeping much of the day every day. And there is no chance I would have been ready to push it in a workout considering just walking to the bathroom made my heart rate go into fat burn mode. There should be a way to account for being ill when looking at those scores. Today my score was in the 90s and yet I still can't eat solids, so I'm definitely not working out today either. It's kinda inaccurate without being able to account for that.

Same here, I've had 102 fever for two+ days, despite registering my increased temp and sleep, and increases resting heart rate and decreased hrv, I have had 100 readiness scores.

Same, I'm sick with covid right now, have high fever and pain everywhere, and it's bizarre to see the app suggest to go for a run. Should be fairly simple to add this.

Not sick, but doing physical therapy. Usually extremely sore day if and sometimes day after. Frustrating seeing that I am ready for anything when I know I can't that day. Same when a migraine hits. Need to be able to account for these type of instances.

The readiness score really needs to be closer to the design of Garmin and other smart watches “body battery” feature for this reason. The readiness score is not responsive enough to what happens each day and is far to general. My understanding is that  HRV throughout the day (which unfortunately Fitbit doesn’t seem to do) is more important, and then HR,  to be using for this rather than sleep. The fact you were sleeping more probably increased your readiness score despite there being a reason you needed more sleep that the Fitbit didn’t recognise. And that extra sleep probably didn’t get you feeling your normal anyway. But that’s a mostly uneducated guess. I think this feature really is disappointing.

I currently do not set up the readiness score but I do think it would be great if there is a way to keep track if we are feeling healthy or ill. I started wearing the watch but I have been sick the whole time for over a week now. So I am sure my heart rate or other thing would affect my numbers. I tend up exercise less etc.

thanks
