I find I cannot use the Relaxation Feature as my breathing is slower than the app. If I follow the app's breath speed, I will need to force myself to inhale and exhale sooner than I naturally would, thus creating more anxiety than calmness. Perhaps the app could be calibrated to have the inhale/exhale rate be related to the user's resting heartbeat. In that way, people like myself who have lower resting heartbeats wouldn't need to breathe faster than our normal to use the Relaxation app.

Hi, @GariRae , unfortunately I have exactly the same problem! I haven’t seen anyone else mention this, however. I have always assumed it was fine for most people... I don’t think of myself as a “slow breather” but I guess I must be when I am trying to relax.
The app does say that it is “sensing breathing” before it begins. I have tried breathing really slowly while it is doing the sensing, but I haven’t found that helps much. Have you tried that? I hadn’t considered whether it has anything to do with resting heart rate
Sorry not to have a better answer for you! Let me know if you come up with any solutions, and welcome to the forums!
