Using InsightTimer and Premium meditations

When I first signed up for Premium I was able to play ambient music on InsightTimer app, open sleep meditation in Fitbit (specifically Drift Off Into Sleep by Oren Jay Sofet) and the ambient music would become background sound to the meditation. About two weeks ago the coordination stoped working. I now open Insight, cue the same Playlist I’ve had since the start, then open Fitbit sleep meditation and Insight goes quiet. As well, once the Fitbit meditation is done, the Insight app doesn’t cue up again. PLEASE HELP.

@SunsetRunner Welcome back to the Community. Thanks for letting me know that you're using Fitbit Premium with InsightTimer music.

It sounds like it might be an issue with the Insight Timer app as you mentioned that once the Fitbit meditation is done, it doesn't cue up again. I tested it out and I was able to play music from InsightTimer while playing a meditation on Fitbit.

I would like you to log out from your account, force quit the app, log back in and try again. If you're still experiencing issues, try another meditation.

Let me know how the troubleshooting goes. Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Hi!

Signed out & force closed both Fitbit & Insight. Opened both, tried my regular Insight playlist & my favorite Fitbit meditation, tried playlist & new meditation, tried single nature sound track with my favorite meditation & with a new meditation. Insight Timer quit in all scenarios.

@SunsetRunner Thanks for getting back. I appreciate the troubleshooting tried.

In this case, you may want to contact Insight Timer directly, it could be something related to the app settings or something that changed in an update. They will be able to continue assisting you.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
