Yoga videos missing from Premium

So I got the trial membership of fitbit premium. I was really enjoying the beginners yoga videos and added the prenatal videos because I'm overweight and having a belly those are modified 🙂 But now all the beginner videos and the prenatal video yoga workouts are gone! The only ones left are the very thin lady who does poses my body can never do and there are no modifications shown and a couple children's yoga videos. I'm so bummed out cause I loved the other workouts that they got rid of. I contacted support but unless I could give them the exact names of the videos missing they can't help me. At the end of the videos it asked if you want to log that workout and I do but unfortunately the app doesn't save the specific workout, only the type of workout so it only logs that I did X amount of time doing yoga. Has anyone else noticed their favorite workouts are now missing? I wish we could also search by specific workouts. I really enjoy the barre classes too but I gotta go through every workout and kind of guess if its that kind. The premium could be better and since they got rid of my favorite workouts I doubt I'll actually pay for it when my trial is over. Super bummed 😞

When I started my trial premium about a week ago, I was mostly interested in the yoga and dance workout videos (and still saw them listed) now I can't find any of them (a search option would be ideal!)

I wonder if something simple went wrong with the app.

I just saw in the Premium faq that workouts would be moved from the Fitbit Coach app to the Fitbit app itself. When I go to the Fitbit app > Discover tab > workouts > see all workouts, I do see yoga and dancing workouts!

Try that!

The easier yoga is under Easier Go-Tos and not under the yoga tab, for some reason. Also try filtering in the upper right for Full body workout.

Judging from the answers we've been given I don't think it's an app issue. It looks like fitbit simply deleted the videos for an unspecified reason. Yoga was my main reason for signing up. I won't be paying for less options that's for sure especially considering ones they deleted were my favorites.

Hi everyone.

Your comments about the videos that were removed are appreciated, be sure that they won't be unnoticed. As mentioned before we're always striving to improve your Fitbit experience.

If you'd like that these videos could be added you may want to post your idea in our Features Suggestion board, specifying which videos you'd like to add again, those suggestions are reviewed by our team and users have the opportunity to vote and comment on them to show their support.

Thank you for your understanding.

But I was told we needed the exact name of the video. I know that I do not remember the exact name of the video. I never would have thought that I would need to screenshot it or write it down cause I never would have imagined y'all would remove them. For those paying for the service they are paying the same amount of money but getting fewer workout options. This is definitely not fair. And the fact that customer service has no idea what is going on and can't give us answers and instead demands we give them exact names of videos to be able to assist us is crazy. Sure fitbit knows what videos it has and what is removed. Just give us our videos back.

I didnt have the fitbit coach, I have just the fitbit premium app and my videos are not there.

@KJ757 Thank you for getting back. At Fitbit, our goal is to help our customers reach their goals with fun, interesting, and challenging workouts and guided programs. Sometimes this means refreshing the options by removing older content so we can make room for new workouts and programs. Thanks for understanding.

If you're a Premium member, you could access Fitbit Coach workouts too, learn more about it by checking this article: About Fitbit Coach

Have a good day.

Well Silvia that is a flawed philosophy. Now instead of working out 5 days a week my activity level has went to 1 or maybe 2 days max because you took away the videos I could do. How is taking away prenatal yoga videos supposed to motivate a pregnant or large woman to exercise when she is now left with no options??? Sometimes we just don't like the videos available or we are simply unable to do them. That's why we have favorites and that is why I will not be a paying member come December if I dont get back the videos I am able to do.

Best Answer

hi Silvia can you please answer the questions. Why have they been removed? I paid for subs in good faith based on a bunch of things being available. They have all disappeared. That makes no sense.

Please don't reply with "thanks for feedback and passed it on". Answer the questions as in why have you removed them?

It does feel a bit of a con.

I used the trial premium and discovered a couple of workout vidoes that really suited me, so I signed up.

Both of them disapeared even though they were bookedmarked in my favourites.

None of the replacements are suitable for me. 😞

Agreed. Im canceling and signing up for a body positive yoga class that I can actually do.

Just looked at the app, there's 22 yoga sessions available. Were there more on the previous generation or previous app? I made a few of the yoga workouts as favorites, it did not show on the fitbit coach app only on the phone app. Challenging to follow yoga on a smart phone screen, it would have been ideal if the yoga workouts were also available in fitbit coach for a bigger screen rather than on a smartphone only.

Yes there used to be more. It wasn't on a previous they just deleted them without warning. Im larger so unfortunately the videos I'm left with don't work for me since there are no modifications. Its ok, I cancelled today and am signing up for body positive yoga classes.

I haven't used the app in a while, as clearly this was an issue 2 months ago, but I only see 7 yoga videos when there used to be a whole lot more. Has there been any resolution to this? Was fitbit able to restore any of the videos for anyone?

I was planning to extend my Premium account for next year but there's no point if most of the videos I used are gone now.

Just noticed yesterday loads of the yoga workouts have gone. I was really enjoying them. Very disappointed.

Best Answer

No they have not. They just excluded an entire group of people. I've signed up for a body positive yoga class and cancelled my premium membership. I won't pay for something I can't use.

No don't, they haven't returned the videos. Such a shame.

Just wanted to flag that I've lost access to many Yoga videos too and I find it very annoying. I will probably cancel premium membership because of this :(.

You have my vote!  I have commented on this and see others have as well.

I used the yoga videos daily and had them marked as favorites in the app. They pulled them all without any notice, my favorites folder is now empty and the few yoga videos they have are not good.

It doesn't look like Fitbit has any intention of restoring them and is ready to let us take our $$ elsewhere.

Best Answer

Yeah it's really annoying. I've just been using some on YouTube. I've completely abandoned my Fitbit devices. I've had a fit bit on my wrist for years and to not be heard or make it easy doesn't go down well with me
