Activities in Activity History not showing up in Recent Exercise tile

Each of the past two mornings, I have created an Activity by long-pressing my Fitbit One at the start and end of the workout.  These Activities are listed correctly in the Activity History, but they are not showing up in the Recent Exercise tile on the Dashboard.  

But if I go to the Log Activites area and create an activity manually, that does show up in the Recent Exercise tile.

Hello there @jimcox and welcome to our community. Try to enter a manual activity like Run or walk, or any activity of this category. The reason of this that are not appearing on your Recent exercise tile is that you need to categorized each of your activities. To do this hover on top of any of your activities and you should see a "pencil" and a "trashcan" icon. I'm sure by doing this you will see your exercise on your Dashboard tile.
