Calories burned previous day resets

Each morning when my fitbit zip syncs, the calories burned the previous day resets to 1714. I am therefore not able to look to see how I am doing as far as calories burned vs taken in. It registers fine on the day I am on, but then resets down to 1714 the next day.

Hey there @Heyjk60! It's great seeing you around. Smiley Happy

That sounds pretty weird. Actually your Zip should reset all values to 0 every night at midnight. However, please note that to calculate your calories burned from exercise, please go an entire day without syncing and take note of the calories burned from BMR (); then sync your tracker and check how many calories were added after that and subtract the amount of calories from your BMR and voilá! For more info check out this post right here

Hope this helps. Keep me posted! Smiley Wink
