Calories burned while goal weight is set to maintain

My wife has set her goal weight on fitbit to maintain and set a calories eatan amount. For some reason though it doesn't give me credit for the calories burned towards what she can eat.

For example mine is set to lose weight and tonight after the gym I got a credit toward what I can eat of 500 calories because that is what I burned. My wife didn't get any credit towards hers after he workout. Is this becasue I am set to lose weight and she is set to maintain?

When set to maintain or to loose weight, credit should be given for doing exercises (able to eat more), as otherwise if not getting credit to eat more calories after exercising, a deficit is created and lead to weight loss instead of maintaining..

A sync is required so the Fitbit Account updates with the tracked data of the tracker.

PS: Always go with appetite / hunger / satisfied feelings,.. if feeling to force feed those calories left, when not hungry can lead to over eating.. the body letting know when needing more nourishment or still being happy from the previous meal / current body fat it has.. not needing more.. There's a setting on the food log page (computer / fitbit.com / account) which can be changed to increase the accuracy.

Change setting on Food Log Page

On the Food Log page, standard a setting is used to base the calories allowed on personal history, when being more or less active the calories can increase or decrease alot.

Change to sedentary when desired to increase the accuracy, when being more active, the calories to eat will increase.
