When I sent a friend request on the Charge 2 to someone who has a Blaze, it will not allow them to accept my request. "it's not you, its us" message shows up. How can I fix this issue?

Friend requests are connecting Fitbit accounts and not trackers. By thought would be to go directly to their Fitbit profile page and add friendship or send them the address of your Fitbit profile page and let them press add friend.
In any case it's not you it's us, usually means the problem is not with you but with us(fitbit), and they will have to fix it.
...but sometimes I've seen this message with a slow Internet connection.
