Charge 4 shows 12 floors, but Dashboard shows 9

The past several days, my watch has shown that I've made the entire 12 steps but my dashboard both on my phone and laptop shows missed floors.  I know I didn't miss those floors.  What could the problem be with this?

It’s good to see you in the community, @PatriciaL20753.

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand your concern and recommend syncing your tracker in order for you to see your updated information on the dashboard. You can find the steps to manually sync your device in How do I manually sync my tracker or watch?

Hope this helps.

Thank you. Yes I did manually sync my device but the watch still showed 12
floors while the app showed only nine. I must have synced it 5-6 times.
It was the same on the dashboard on my computer too.

Thank you for your reply, @PatriciaL20753.

I appreciate your efforts and the additional details. I would like to confirm if you manually logged any activities or if you have any third party app connected to your Fitbit account? I will be glad to investigate further.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Thank you no, I had no idea I could do that, but how does that show more
floors? It took me awhile to figure out how to do this.

Thank you for your response, @PatriciaL20753.

I appreciate your efforts and thank you for the additional details. Manually logged activities override your tracker's data. However, since you're not logging any activities and the issue persists, I recommend getting in touch with our Support team so they can look deeper into the issue and help you with this matter. Click here to get connected with them via chat or phone.

Hope this helps.
