Where do you go to set up date and time.

There are no manual settings other than your timezone. The date and time are automatically updated each time you sync.

@larryblake if you haven't already done so then you first need to setup your fitbit with either your phone or a computer. Here's a guide to this: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1873/
