Deleting an item from my food is not updated in app

I have modified my food by deleting items that I no longer consume. I us the timeframe of three years to determine if the item should be deleted. When I use the app and bring up the custom food list, I find the item that I have deleted. When I try to access this item I get the message "Can't connect to Fitbit" with the button "Try Again".  Tapping the button yields the same message. I close the app, force stop and reopen with the same results. Any other modifications performed to an item on the web page have been passed to the app.

Any suggestions on how to have the app updated with the removal of the deleted items from the web page?

I would recommend following the next steps:

 

- Log out from the Fitbit app

- Uninstall/reinstall the Fitbit app

- Log back into the app

 

Whether the above doesn't work, please attach a screen shot of the message you get for further investigation.

Thank you for your response. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it
cleared the issue.
