Editing an Activity

I was wondering why, when I look at the dashboard on my computer, do some of my activities have a pencil/edit icon next to them and some do not? I would like to change a couple of activities that were accidentally listed as "run" to "walk".

(I can't figure out how to attach a screenshot)

@ChristyDoodle, the difference is in how the exercise activity was created. If it was created automatically with SmartTrack, the pencil will be next to the activity name in the exercise log, and you can change the name.  If it was created manually, or by using the Multisport Exercise Mode on the Charge 2, the activity name cannot be changed and no edit pencil will be displayed.
