I have followed the correct steps to change my email address: logged out of the mobile app, changed the email via the online dashboard, clicked "submit". But Fitbit stubbornly refuses to change my email address. Software glitch? or is there another way?

Should have worked, but that's little help, huh?
Probably the quickest way to get help is to contact Fitbit Support. They should be able to make the change on their end.
