Export all data not 30 day increments

I recently decided to move from fitbit (long story) and decided to see if I could bring my data with me, you know, my data, about me. 

Looks like i can in 30 day increments...? I've been using a fitbit since almost day one, that's a lot of data. From what i got over twitter it's just too hard to export data in bigger chunks? This seems .. well odd Twitter can export all my tweets in one file, yet health data is just too much?

It'd be fine if it was a "click here, we'll email you later when we're done" thing, but it's definitely not user friendly to expect us to export in 30 day chunks. 

Is there a technical reason I can't get my data easily or is it more just ot upsell data export?

Fitbit claims the change from export all to exporting a maximum of a month's data at a time was due to resource limitations (i.e. server load). Take that for what it's worth.
