Food Plan as you Lose Weight

Hi all!

 

I've been using my fitbit for almost two months now and I'm really liking it. I've found these boards are a super helpful place for when I get inevitably lost and confused over the finer points of how to use the dashboard and app tools.  I'm slowly starting to drop a little bit of weight (two pounds woo!).  Not as fast as I wanted but I'm happy either way.

 

My question is - does my food plan adjust as I lose weight?

 

I know when you way less you need fewer calories and I'm not sure if my BMI/food plan adjust automatically in fit bit or if I have to do this.  I don't have much to lose but it's been a real struggle to get it off (apparently I may have low thyroid function) so I would hate to sabotage myself because I didn't know to go in an manually adjust something on my tracking!
