Forget to remove Fitbit before treadmill

I sometimes forget to remove my Fitbit Alta before getting on the treadmill.  The Fitbit recognizes my workout, but how can I manually adjust it off the dashboard to log my own entry? Now I have more steps than I really earned.

You cannot adjust the activity, but you can delete it and manually enter a new one with the data you want to show.
