Is there a certain time frame that Fitbit awards Lifetime Distance Badges?  I have over 1900 miles but never received the Japan Badge (1869 Miles).  Are these awarded monthly, quarterly?

The last badge awarded was Great Barrier Reef.

The lifetime badges have no time limits but only miles directly tracked by the fitbit count towards badges. Could it be that some of your miles were the result of manually logged activity or syncing with another app?

No, all miles are tracked by my Fitbit. I did upgrade to a newer Fitbit but that didn’t seem to affect anything.
