Logged food disappearing

Hi,
Whenever I log an individual item on the food log the food will appear initially but then the food in the section I've logged against will sort itself, and the logged item will disappear. Or if I'm logging several items for a meal not all of the items will be saved, sometimes multiple attempts are required until the items are added successfully.

Please can you advise on this?

It is affecting my iPhone 6 and my partner's iPhone 5s.

Same problems happening here.

I have also noticed that after a couple of days the missing food will reappear, so if you added it back in after it disappeared then your portions are doubled.

 

All entries are searched through the app or created custom.  Very random what disappears but usually when you use the Save and Add more option.

Same problem. Have the latest iOS. Deleted and reinstalled the App. Soooo annoying.
