Is there a way to use the dashboard without having to be "on-line"?

Is there a way to go straight into the Dashboard without having to Sync?

Not really. The data is held on the fitbit servers rather than on your phone so to be able to see the dashboard you'll need to be online.

 

If you want to disable the sync you could turn off bluetooth to break the connection between your phone and the tracker but if you are online then you will still be able to view the dashboard (although the data will only be as current as it was at the last sync)
