Steps & Activity data lost

I am using an android device for the app and all updates for this are run regularly and automatically, yet my steps and activity that interface from my tracker through the day (with no issue) onto the app seem to wipe in full from the app overnight. I re-sync the device to see if the lost data returns but it does not and all steps and activity details are gone. Is anyone else experiencing this?
