WAY Too Many Calories (10k/day)

My Surge has recently begun telling me that I'm burning an INSANE amount of calories - as many as 10,000 a day!  For instance, today it is 2pm and it thinks I've burned 5,500 calories, which is impossible.  I've walked 2.5k steps and I work a desk job.  Has anyone else run into this problem, and were you able to fix it?  If so, could you please explain how?

It's worth checking that none of your profile settings (age, height, weight etc) have accidentally changed as these directly affect the calorie calculations. https://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/edit

That was it!  I didn't realize that when you log your weight for the day, it automatically updates your weight in your profile.  I accidentally left out a decimal point so it changed my profile to say that I weigh 1300 lbs!  Thanks for the help.
