Which trackers have SmartTrack and automatic sleep recognition?

Hi everyone,

This is my 1st post here, still I have not used any ''Fitness Tracker Watch'' I have some questions in my brain which I need to discuss with you all.

1. I wanted to buy any Fitbit watch for my Dad & myself and I am not sure always we need to start the watch before any exercise or it will be start automatically, for example if I wanted to sleep then before sleeping I need to press my finger on watch or press the button or it will be start automatically.
2. Still I am not sure which watch I will buy for my Dad & myself. 

I will be very thankful for your valuable replies and suggestions for 1st Fitness watch, which me and my father need to buy.

It really depends on the model. Most do have the auto detection
