I have a Fitbit flex too. I have used it faithfully and not had a bit of trouble with it. Updated my phone last week and now it will no longer sync. Five flashing lights, have done the hard reset on the back pushing it three times within five seconds Nothing works . Please tell me how to get my flex to to charge and sync with my phone

5 flashing lights generally means it is doing an update.  Maybe you just have to give it time to finish, wouldn't hurt to leave it on charger during.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

It has been on the charger for one hour, and the lights are still flashing. I will leave it overnight and see what happens.

This did not work. Do you have other suggestions

Hi @LBMflex2 I'd suggest you restart it several times. If that doesn't fix it, it is probably dying sadly.

Oh really? My flex 2 is doing the same thing. I thought I accidentally gave it a heart attack as it has been very dry here and I get shocked by everything… it only started doing it after I updated my iPhone, same as @LBMflex2 …

not sure if I can go back to the older version of my phone but will try that and see what happens 🤞🏻
