On May 28, I received an email saying someone was wanting to change my email address,  it was not me asking.  I thought it was a fake email.  Not so.  I went on a few days later and someone change my email and password to theirs.  I called Fitbit on June 5 to get this taken care of an the fella said he would pass this on but had no idea when this would get fixed and not to worry.  How could I not worry when this person had access to all of my info and friends.  I called on June 12 because nothing had been done yet and also my scale will no longer sync.  They advised me I would hear back in 24 max 48 hours.  Still nothing.  I have since logged in through facebook and see that now the email have been changed yet again without my permission and the person also change my name to his and change my birthdate.  I am not feeling very comfortable about this situation

"An "account takeover", as described in this help article, is a phenomenon that affects many popular online destinations, including Fitbit for many reasons. Fitbit takes very seriously the security of your account and data and my best suggestion is to report any abnormality that you see in your Fitbit account so we can further investigate and help you with that. You can find more information about how to secure your Fitbit account and data here."
