So I have had my fitbit on my desk and it hasn't been moved for the past two days since I knew I wouldn’t be getting much activity, and I've noticed my flex 2 has been wrong by like 2000-7000 steps before, but without the fitbit moving, in those 2 days it has counted 56,678 steps. Which is incredibly wrong because it should have counted zero steps. Is there anyway i cant fix this, because this isn't the first time this happened. Its to the point where I don't even want to wear it because its inaccurate without me even wearing it.

Is the Fitbit near a vibration source like a fan, dehumidifier, or even a computer CPU? It can see the vibration as steps and add false steps.
You can enter a driving record to get rid of them
