How do I log in execises such as planks and sit-ups..It asks me for calories burned and I have no idea. Without entering calories burned it wont let me log in the execise.

Log "calisthenics, light to moderate effort" with the start time and the time you spent doing these exercises. This will estimate a calorie burn. Ab work like this is in the "light to moderate" effort in terms of calorie burn, the option for "vigorous effort" is more for pullups and more vigorous calisthenics that use many muscle groups.
